AppPresser is in beta!
After months of hard work, we have released AppPresser in beta!
Things have been going great so far, we’ve been squashing bugs and getting great feedback.
It’s a private beta, so only those on our email list will receive invitations. We have already sent out one wave of invites, the other is coming this week. After those invites are sent, beta will be closed, and no more invitations will be available.
If you didn’t receive an invitation, don’t worry, we are launching in January to the public. Until then, you can download the core plugin and play around with it if you like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/apppresser/
We want to hear from you
We want to know what type of app you want to build with AppPresser. Your feedback will help us decide which features, or turnkey apps to create next.
Do you want another turnkey app (like our ecommerce app)? Do you want a certain feature to develop your own custom apps?
Please leave a comment and let us know. You’re the best!
Exciting to hear about the launch in January. We are launching a new site for a well-recognised brand here in the UK, and we need to get the first phase of an app done in time for launch too. I am hopeful we can use Apppreser to create it. However…
We need it to be able to search and browse custom post types in our existing WordPress sites. Will this be possible in January do you think?
Also, because the site is still in development, it is only accessible by adding redirects in a host file. Can we develop the app with similar redirects so it can be tested and run by our devs the same way?
Thanks for all you’re doing. Apppresser sounds like a God-send for people like me!
Hey Tim, thanks! I’m not sure what you mean by “search and browse custom post types” exactly. You can do anything in the app that you can do on your website, since AppPresser is a webview.
I’ve never tried redirects in that way, but I think that should work ok for testing.
Cheers!
Really looking forward to the wooCommerce integration here and how it tightly connects with all the payment gateways. Please keep us all informed on this integration as I have not gotten access to anything yet it would be nice to hear more.
The payment gateways are looking good, which one specifically do you want to use?
@Scott, speciifically the Realex redirect and direct methods and also PayPal and Stripe would be ideal and I use them almost exclusively on alot of WooCommerce stores.
Paypal standard and Pro are good, Stripe should be good too. Not sure about the redirect methods, it’s certainly something we can add to our todo list if a lot of people need that. Or you can build a custom extension 😉
