The RPX Fitness Move For Life Membership “is designed to help you build strength, move with confidence and create a body that performs well in everyday life.” Through the RPX Fitness app, members get guided workout programs, mobility sessions, strength training and coaching insights, all built around the RPX Method, whether they train at home or in the gym. It is built with AppPresser.

In this featured app spotlight, we take a closer look at the team behind RPX Fitness, what the app does, who it serves, and why it is such a strong example of what happens when a WordPress site and a mobile app work together.

Who Is Behind RPX Fitness

RPX Fitness, short for Real Performance Exercise, is an Australian movement coaching business founded and directed by Naomi Pendergast. Naomi is a movement specialist and personal trainer with more than 20 years of experience helping people move better, build strength, recover from injury and improve performance. She has worked with a wide range of clients, from complete beginners to professional athletes, and that experience has convinced her that there is no one size fits all approach to health and fitness.

Naomi specialises in “bridging the gap between rehabilitation, function, and performance.” Rather than focusing on isolated exercises, she helps clients understand how their body works as an integrated system, combining movement assessment, breathing strategies, stability, mobility, strength and coordination. As the founder of RPX Fitness, she has turned those years of experience into a coaching system that helps people “move well, move often, lift freely, and live fully,” which is also the company’s mission.

Today, RPX Fitness offers several ways to work with Naomi: private coaching built around each client’s body, the Move For Life Membership delivered through the app, and Work Space Health, which brings movement, recovery and wellbeing programs into workplaces. Naomi believes movement “is more than exercise” and calls it “a pathway to confidence, independence, and a better quality of life.” RPX Fitness is online at rpxfitness.com.au.

What the RPX Fitness App Does

The RPX Fitness app is the home of the Move For Life Membership. Unlike programs that focus only on exercise, it teaches members how their body moves, improving “stability through breathing, mobility through control, strength through balance and movement through coordination.” Programs and courses come from the RPX Fitness WordPress site, so new content reaches members in the app as soon as it is added.

Here are the main areas the app covers:

  • Guided workout programs for all fitness levels.
  • Home and gym based strength training sessions.
  • Mobility, recovery and movement restoration routines.
  • Movement flows for daily body maintenance and performance.
  • Power and athletic development sessions.
  • Premium courses, such as Boost for running and riding performance and Amplify for triathlon performance.
  • Exercise tutorials and movement education, so members learn how the technique should feel.
  • Coaching insights to help members train with greater knowledge and confidence, with new content added regularly.

What makes RPX Fitness distinctive is its emphasis on understanding, not just effort. Sessions follow a clear structure, such as Release, Activate, Strengthen and Stretch, and the tutorials focus on how a movement should feel when the technique is right. The result is training that carries over into work, sport, family life and everyday activities.

Learn the Technique

Premium Courses teach members how to feel in their body when the technique is right, so they can work out anywhere with confidence. Courses like Boost, for run and ride performance, and Amplify, for triathlon performance, go deeper for people with specific goals. Each one is built from Naomi’s movement education.

Who RPX Fitness Serves

RPX Fitness is built for everyday people who want to move better and stay capable for life. Whether they are returning to exercise, managing persistent aches and pains or simply wanting to feel stronger, members get programs that meet them where they are.

It also serves athletes. Naomi has worked with professional athletes, and the power, athletic development and endurance courses give runners, riders and triathletes training that builds performance on a foundation of good movement.

Finally, it serves people who train on their own schedule. With home and gym sessions, tutorials and coaching insights in one app, members can follow a structured program anywhere, without needing a trainer beside them for every workout.

Technology Behind the App

RPX Fitness is powered by its own WordPress site, rpxfitness.com.au.

The app is built from WordPress, and WordPress drives it. Programs and memberships live on the WordPress site, and AppPresser carries that content straight into the app, so updates made on the site show up in the app without a separate system to manage.

Looking at the site itself, these are the platforms behind the experience:

  • WordPress logoWordPress, the foundation for the training platform. WordPress is the open source content management system that powers more websites than any other platform.
  • LearnDash logoLearnDash, for courses. LearnDash is a WordPress learning management plugin.
  • Paid Memberships Pro logoPaid Memberships Pro, for memberships. Paid Memberships Pro is a WordPress membership plugin.
  • WooCommerce logoWooCommerce, which runs the online store. WooCommerce is the open source ecommerce plugin that turns WordPress into an online store.

  • Plugin iconPowerLift with WPBakery, for design. PowerLift is a WordPress fitness theme.
  • AppPresser logoAppPresser, which turns the WordPress site into the mobile app. AppPresser is a mobile app builder that creates native iOS and Android apps from a WordPress site.

What RPX Fitness Shows About AppPresser

RPX Fitness runs its website on WordPress, and the app shows how AppPresser can bring a WordPress membership and course platform to mobile. Programs and courses built in WordPress become a polished training app that members can carry with them.

It also shows how popular WordPress plugins can power an app. LearnDash organizes the courses and sessions, while Paid Memberships Pro and WooCommerce handle memberships and sales, and AppPresser brings it all together on iPhone and iPad.

And it shows how a coach can scale her expertise. Naomi can only work with so many people one on one, but the RPX Fitness app lets her methods reach members wherever they train.

Congratulations to Naomi Pendergast and RPX Fitness on building an app that helps people move well, move often, lift freely and live fully. We are proud to have AppPresser behind it.
