The WP Armchair mobile app, powered by AppPresser and BuddyPress
This app has been discontinued, please check out PressChat for an example of a BuddyPress mobile app
We are excited to announce a new mobile app for WordCamp attendees, called WP Armchair!
If you are attending a WordCamp, register for free and post images and activity throughout the event. Make friends with other people, private message, and more, similar to Twitter or Facebook.
The WP Armchair app uses the AppBuddy extension for AppPresser. Turn any BuddyPress website into a social networking app!
Download WP Armchair by searching the iOS or Android app stores for “wparmchair”, or use the links below.

If that ain’t a violation of the WordPress logo, I don’t know what is! Congrats on this app, it looks awesome.

Hi, Just tried checking this out as AppPresser with BP plugin may be just what i’m looking for, however when i install the above app on my NoteII I get the following error message “Could not connect to server” – is this example app no longer supported and if so where could I try before I buy? Thanks in advance.
Hey Mitch, I haven’t heard anyone else report that error, what device are you using?

Tried to demo app and they don’t allow new registrations. Not much to see if you can’t get in.
Jamie
Hi Jamie, sorry about that. I was noticing a lot of spam registrations, they must have turned registration off for that reason. They are ways to combat spam for your own app.
I’d also like to check out the app – is there a way? Demo credentials?
If we can’t sign up, what are the demo credentials?
Hi, we aren’t the owners of this app, so we don’t have demo credentials to give out unfortunately. Sorry!
