What’s New?
If you haven’t seen our emails or posts about AppPresser 3 in general, there’s a lot. Here’s a quote from our earlier blog post, which sums it up well.
What’s New? Everything.
This release is not just an update, it is a whole new product. We made huge improvements in how you build apps, and how the apps themselves perform.
We’ve been working on this behind the scenes for many months, and I can tell you it’s incredible. Apps are way faster, they feel more native, and they include tons of new features that weren’t possible before.
This is a whole new platform for building apps with WordPress. You still get all the great WordPress integrations we’ve always had, along with much much more.

Hi
Is the extensions included in ver 3 or do i still have to install the plugins?
Hi, you still have to install our plugins and theme on your site. Here is an article about that: http://v3docs.apppresser.com/article/307-start-here
Thanks for the update.
Any time frame when 3rd party phonegap plugins can be added again?
Cheers,
Alex
Will you guys be adding in the main logo setting option once more in apppresser 3? I would love to test out my first app but really need the logo on the app. Also the pagination on the list type card pages is important so people can get the next page of posts here.
Also you have this plugin block element for blocking plugins in the app that would be used on the site itself. It would be great to get this working in realtime on the customizer as right now its very hard to know straight away if you do use alot of plugins how the app is shaping up until you run a test version on the device itself. Thanks
Hey James, adding a logo is possible right now using a custom CSS background image, and adding the logo to your offline assets. We are planning on adding an uploader to make this easier.
The post lists have infinite scroll, so not sure about the pagination. Maybe you could email us more details about that and the plugin blocker, thanks.
Not thrilled we are being forced to adopt the platform model with V3.
Can I use apppresser with another theme like Divi?
Can I use apppresser with another theme like Divi framework or Genesis? Please reply
I am guessing its a no go on the Divi theme?
But it seems like using the AppPresser3 theme wont affect my live site, but the theme will switch when viewed through the app, is my understanding correct?
Then the other question I have is.. my site and all its pages are built with Divi. I am thinking this will not play nicely in the app. In the end there are only certain shortcodes I need from a custom plugin. How would I go about creating a page that’s not built via divi so it will play nicely in the app?
Hi, some of our customers have reported successfully using Divi with AppPresser, but only with the Divi Builder plugin. You cannot use your desktop theme in the app, please see this video for a full explanation: http://v3docs.apppresser.com/article/365-custom-themes
that link is dead
Fixed the links, sorry about that!
