AppPresser Theme
A theme built to look and behave like a native mobile app. Not just a responsive theme, it is an AppAware Theme – a framework for making a WordPress site that works like an app.
This is the first WordPress theme built from the ground up for use inside a mobile app.
The AppPresser theme uses mobile app design conventions seen across many different types of apps. That means it can be used for many different types of applications, such as ECommerce, music, real estate, etc.
AppAware Theme
Our AppTheme has an app-style layout and everything in the AppPresser theme follows mobile app design conventions to assure it looks and works great on most devices. The header, menus, icons, page layouts, etc. are all designed specifically for an app environment.
The layout adapts responsively to a tablet and mobile phone view (and everything in between) so it always looks great.
Less page refreshes
The AppPresser theme uses AJAX to insert your content without page refreshes, so your visitors stay immersed in your content.
Note: AJAX can cause conflicts with some plugins.
Interactive side panel menu
The left panel menu features section dividers, tiered sub-menus, icons, and hooks for extra functionality. Extensions can add search, user profile, cart items, and more.
It uses the native WordPress menu system, so it’s very easy to use.
Customizable
Use the WordPress theme customizer to change every color in the theme with no coding.
You can add custom menus, tie into theme hooks, and even use a child theme to make your app look any way you want
How it’s built
The AppPresser theme is easy to work with, because it’s built with frameworks you might already be familiar with.
The foundation is the underscores theme, with Twitter Bootstrap, and Font Awesome. This gives you a solid codebase that is familiar, fully documented, and easy to work with.
Use font icons in your menus and buttons, along with Twitter bootstrap components to make it easier to create the look of your app.
