As an Agency or Reseller customer it is expected for you to handle certificates for your apps yourself. If you don't have the knowledge or resources to handle these we can do these for you for a fee.
Firstly though, let's make sure there's not a way we can give you the knowledge and tools to do it yourself.
If you have access to a MacOS device you can run the same Fastlane scripting tools that we use to generate your certs for your AppPresser apps. You'll just need to be comfortable making some text changes to a config file and then running a few command-line commands.
See: AppPresser Certs Generator
Note: These instructions and code are provided as-is and we don't offer support. If you can't work it out, we'd recommend paying for us to handle the certificates for you.
That's ok, even without a MacOS device you can generate certificates for your apps manually if you're comfortable working with command-line tools like OpenSSL. See our docs for more info:
Want us to handle the certs for you?
We can create the full set of certs for your AppPresser app for a $49 one time charge. This includes:
- iOS Development Certs
- iOS AdHoc Certs
- iOS Distribution Certs
- iOS Push Notification Certs
- Android Keystore
You'll receive a zip file with these files, which you'll then add to your Bitrise account by following our Bitrise Self Setup Docs. If you don't want to configure Bitrise yourself select the option below and we'll take care of that as well.
Before we start
In order for us to create your iOS certificates you will need to have completed the Apple Developer sign up process and paid the membership fee. Apple Developer
You should also add any iOS devices you want to use for testing to your account. See this article. If your device UDID is not on your account before we generate certs, it will not be able to download the app.
You can add more devices later, but you'll need to generate and send us new profiles. You can read more on that here
We need to log in using your Apple account which requires us to enter a two-factor authentication code. When we attempt to log in to your account we'll need you to send through the SMS code within 10 minutes. Please provide us with a suitable timeframe where this will not be a problem. Note that you may also receive a popup code on your Apple device. This method has a shorter window so we use the SMS code instead, please ignore the Apple popup code unless specifically requested
While we take care of the iOS push notifications setup you are still required to setup Android push notifications yourself. Thankfully, the Android process is quite simple by comparison. You can do that by following the docs here: Android Push Notifications
If we (AppPresser) created your certificates for you last year and all you need is a renewal of your iOS certificates please select Yes
