What about marketpress support?
We don’t have any plans to integrate MarketPress, sorry about that.
HI Scott,
I still wonder how to use Reactor, and as I see it require wordpress site. So each Reactor package should include wordpress host feature, if some clients doesn’t have WP and need create with Reactor in once place/package.
Could you have write new article to describe about this, if you think it long to explain.
Thanks.
Hi, Reactor is meant for people who already have WordPress websites, and they want to make a mobile app. If you don’t know how to setup WordPress, I would recommend the guides here: http://www.wpbeginner.com/guides/
Got it and nice shoot. Thanks.
How do the content classes for custom styling work?
Hey Kenny, we are actually working on documenting that right now so you can see all the classes available for custom CSS.
Hi, Is Reactor compatible with Jquery / Jquery mobile?
Hi, Reactor uses the Ionic Framework: http://ionicframework.com
It is angularjs based, but it is possible to use jQuery in some instances.
Just wondering if you are planning on having short codes in the site work through reactor in the future?
Because I like the interface of designing/updating the app, but it wont work well with our site that has a lot of shortcodes.
Hi Stacey, Reactor uses the WP-API, which uses shortcodes differently than a normal website. Without going into too much detail, it is basically impossible to make them work in a mobile app that uses an API. This is not a shortcoming of Reactor, it’s just the way apps work.
I’d recommend trying AppPresser if you want to use shortcodes, because it does not use the API, so they still work.
