The Cura Foundation: Advancing Global Health
A closer look at how the Cura Foundation’s website connects mission, innovation, and community through structured navigation, strategic content, and a global vision for health equity.
The Cura Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to improving global health and reducing human suffering. Their work includes disease prevention, medical research, eductation, and direct aid with a focus on equity and innovation. Our goal was to create a site that reflects that mission through structured navigation, strategic content, and a clean, modern layout that’s both informative and inspiring.
A Structured Digital Experience Backed by Purpose
The site opens with a clear and immediate message: Unite to Improve Human Health. We used bold visuals and human-centered messaging on the homepage to set the tone for everything that follows. After scrolling down, Cura introduces three affirmations: We Are, We Unite, and We Drive. Each statement is paired with an explanation with makes it easy to understand the foundation's goals without having to dig through sites.
We structured the top navigation as a mega menu, organizing key areas into expandable sections. Each option expands to reveal related pages and categories making it easy to explore specific initiatives and research areas.

About Us gives users a deeper look at the organization’s history, leadership, partnerships, awards, and publications. This section also includes easy access to contact forms, donation options, and community engagement opportunities.

Our Work highlights the foundation’s ongoing efforts across public health education, science-based innovation, and global events.

Areas of Focus breaks down Cura’s cross-disciplinary reach, including regenerative medicine, environmental sustainability, interfaith dialogue, and humanitarian outreach.

Giving Back showcases the foundation’s commitment to service, including its PSA campaigns, food security efforts, and direct aid programming.
We also included two always-visible CTAs in the top right: CuraLink and Donate. These give visitors quick access to the foundation’s most high-impact actions.
Bridging Sectors, Elevating Voices
Much of Cura’s impact comes from its ability to bring together people who don’t usually share a stage. Scientists, physicians, ethicists, philanthropists, spiritual leaders, and policymakers all have a seat at the table and work together. That collaborative energy is reflected in the organization’s global summits, ongoing think tanks, and longstanding partnerships with groups like NFL Alumni Health, Sanford Health, and the Chopra Foundation.
One of the key initiatives we helped spotlight is CuraLink, a curated newsletter that shares perspectives from experts working across science, medicine, ethics, and public service. By putting a spotlight on the people behind the progress, CuraLink reinforces the foundation’s goal of building shared understanding.

This site was built using AppPresser’s flexible WordPress-based platform. We made sure it could handle a wide range of content types from press releases and downloadable reports to donation workflows and event coverage while still keeping the front-end experience fast and accessible. Every part of the build was designed with clarity in mind. From the mega menu to the CuraLink integration, we focused on structure, consistency, and ease of use for both visitors and content editors. The Cura team can manage updates in-house without needing developers for every change.
The end result is a site that looks clean, functions smoothly, and adapts to the foundation’s evolving needs. Whether visitors are accessing it from a desktop, tablet, or phone, they’re met with a site that reflects the professionalism and heart behind Cura’s work.
